I like the composition of the bricks and the bike rack. It almost seems more like a graphic than a photo somehow. Good job!

(I wonder how many people used to ride their bikes to a Shakespeare play?)

Hi Jessica, nice to hear from you - thanks for the comment.

I recently bought a 90 degree viewfinder so I’ve been using this to get low down – far easier than lying flat.

I really love the high contrast on the bicycle rack, it really makes my eyes follow all the way through to the other end. Along with the great brick to add a bit of abstract to the overall photo.

Fantastic - Like

Thanks Rafael, glad you like it. It was the lines in the floor and the brickwork that first caught my eye.

Hi Don, good to hear from you too! Thanks for the comment - I did worry that I might have gone too far with the contrast but I think I managed to stay just on the right side. This area is normally teeming with tourists (which, technically, I am) so it was nice to be out before the crowds arrived.

This I really like, no point in spouting rubbish Just Fantastic. You got my YS and L Regards, Aubrey

Stunning, Matthew! Did you see a play as well?

Matthew Walters on August 9, 2011

Thanks Nawitka - yes, we saw The Merchant of Venice with Patrick Stewart.
