End of Clevedon Pier

I first walked on the Pier when I was a very small child, when we first moved to Clevedon. I remember looking down through the planks at the water below & feeling very queasy. The next day - or that's probably a telescoping of memory - they were testing the structure with sea-water weights & it fell down, & was left unrestored for the best part of 30 years. They've done a marvellous job, I think.
