A fascinating foto from the moon, taken with unbelievable date: 1/400 sec; f=5.6; 100 ASA; 300 mm
Thank you for this picture!
Looks like we were up to the same thing last night! Funny how the moon looks just the same in Missouri and it does in Montana ;). Great job, Ryan!
great photo Ryan :o)
Thanks Winfried! The moon was bright, but I was still very surprised how easy it was to take a hand held shot.
Thanks Eve! Yes, it's the same moon. But I took some at midnight, and then again at 2 when it was even brighter, and there was some very noticeable rotation just within two hours. It's amazing how much the appearance can change of something so big.
Thanks Rom@nce! It's my first try to photograph the moon. It looks to me like a cantaloupe.
What a lovely picture of the moon, the details can be seen quite clearly. It's a great capture, Ryan, I like it! Greetings, Anne
Thanks Anne! I was very happy with it, and amazed that the texture of the craters can be seen so clearly along the dark edge. Cheers, Ryan
Thank you, I believe we were on the same wave link last night. Beatiful shot.
beatifful moon...wao I like that picture.that amazing..
Ryan you and your new lens did a fantastic job capturing the detail of the moon! :D
Your framing it off to the corner adds additional interest! :D
Thanks Axel, Adl, and Pam! It was nice and bright, and easy to see.
Looks like we are all on a moon kick! Very nice job, I like how you have it off center too.
Thanks Vicki! Yes, I looked around and found quite a few moons taken on this exact day. It was very near full, so it was the perfect time for it. Cheers, Ryan
Nice shot of the moon,
