Los Lobos at Toronto Jazz Festival (David Hidalgo, Steve Berlin), June 2011

Not selected for Google Earth or Google Maps [?]

I did take most photos without flash, because I photographed from close range!

I did not think about the lighting. It was changing all the time, sometimes red hue like here, sometimes yellowish white, which I prefer, as I shoot with available light. On most of the shots there is too much movement to be usable.

Los Lobos use the accordion on Mexican style tunes only.

Yes Tomas, I have seen this group two times here. The first time was about 25 years ago, it was excellent! Two years ago i saw them also but it was a poor show, they seemed burned out! Kind regards, Odeveld

Los Lobos played lots of hard rock. More LA mexican would be preferable.

I was actually disappointed, but it was free concert for me, so not much complaining here!

A great shot of our time and perhaps reflecting yesteryear as well. Brave of you Tom, to keep the deep red lighting present, as I think lots of people including myself may have been tempted to neutralise the lighting but on reflection I think your style is for the better. Interesting photo for me as I too play the three row Hohner. (Don't know this band though! Like, well done.

Cheers, Herb

Oh they are just great I would really have Liked to see them preform.

Tomros on July 20, 2011

Hello Erik,

It would have been wonderful, if they played simple songs like this, but unfortunately, they just turned the volume up and played a lot hard rock.

It was a big disappointed crowd exiting the concert!

How strange one should have expected them to play more suitable song at such a festival.I can imagine the disappointment!

Ciao, Erik

A great shot for one of my favourit band, I've seen them in 1993 in Genoa and they played a great performance, the right mix between rock'n'roll and traditional mexican music, I like this kind of picture! Greetings from Genoa!

Hello Rene and Machinist, my Panoramio friends,

thank you for your visit, your kind comments and Like 11.

1993, they were still trying hard! Now, as Odeveld says, they are burned out!!

Greetings, Tomas from Toronto
