Info on the Stone Arch Bridge
Nice to read the information about the bridge Joy...
Would love to go on a paddle ride up the Mississippi one day...LIKED
Thanks Marion! We got to go on board the Mississippi or Delta Queen one time and walk around the outside deck while it was in port. Now they no longer ply the waters on long passages. Guess insurance for overnight trips on wooden boats became exorbitant. But there are lots of paddle wheelers that take day trips on the river.
Thanks for the like. This was the one shot that did not upload nearly as well as it was in the original file...not sure why:( So especially glad to see you liked it!
It is amazing what you don't pay attention to when you live there! I didn't know about this either. I guess I was a south Minneapolis girl. :)) Nice one.
LOL! You must have read the comment I had on the other shot last night. I tried twice to make the link work and finally gave up and deleted the comment. It really is true that often when you see something every day you don't look below the surface. I haven't been in this area much either but want to go back check it out more.....sometime...when I get the time. You know how that is:)
Great chatting with you...but I gotta run the rest of the day:(
Beautiful BRIDGE, good photo
Great composition Joy
Thanks Teri! This is one of my favorites & it actually looked better before I uploaded it than it does here.
Oh, sorry I missed your comment Magdi! I am glad you liked my bridge & thanks for your visits today! I was in too big of a hurry to see what Teri had to say:)
Viele Grüße von der Mosel

WONDERFUL SHOT, NICE VIEW, LIKED IT FROM NEPAL, NAMASTE.
Interesting looking bridge jf. Reminiscent of the Roman viaduct. Does that iron span lift to let water traffic through?
Very nice view, L i k e
Thank you for your info link.
Thanks Seyit! I enjoyed my tour of your beautiful gallery this morning.
Many thanks Sanjay!
Yes, Marbiz that is exactly why the iron span is there. Thanks for your visit and nice comment. I think you are right about the Roman viaduct type design.
Thanks GGR! I am glad you found the info link helpful.
