Hi Tash

This i presume is the Mosque out at the road going to Shebagan in the old city of Balkh. Follow A76 The city that presumably is 5000 Years old and has a mudden wall approx 1km in diameter. in the middel it has a round road and in both ends is a Mosque, the one on the Photo is closest to Shebagan and the other there is only a small trays of a building left.

Regards for the nice picture

Hi Elios, Amazing, 1973, it must have been a wonderfull trip around Afghanistan, i have a very good friend who drove from Denmark to trough Afghanistan to India in an old LandRover at that time!

The old city of Balkh is maybe one of first cities in the world, Alexander the Great should have been there too. It is not very many people who have been to that place as it is more or less "out of bounce" for relief workers, for some strange reason. Its a very very peaceful place and very friendly people.

I can see You have been around the world, and in indonesia too! "Terrimacasi" for Your comment on the other photo by the way!

I believe that, just having interaction between people, can make this world a better place, and i can see You have been around doing Your share!
