Afghanistan Kabul 1969

Gazie Spinella, ma io ci sono andato nell'anno 1969 !! via terra con la cinquecento fino in India.Allora tutto era molto piu tranquillo, in Afghanistan regnava il RE, la gente era molto cordiale e ospitale e fiera nessuno li aveva mai sottomessi. Poi sono arrivati i Russi, Gli Americani ......

Es el Mausoleo de Abdur-Rahman Khan, el "Emir de Hierro", en el Parque Zarnegar de Kabul. Ahora esos árboles son enormes y el mausoleo apenas se ve. Me impresiona ver tu colección de fotos de 1969. He oido muchas historias de esa época y que algún que otro viajero occidental quedó en el Cementerio. Un saludo, Morrique.

Wow I have just loaded a picture of this place how it looks now I am sure it is the same building. One of the few places in Kabul with greenery surrounding it giving it an air of tranquility..... Do yo uknow the name of the place?

It is the Mausoleum of Abdur-Rahman Khan, aka "Emir of Iron", in Zarnegar Park in Kabul. Cheers!
