Acadia Books on Queen East, since 1931

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Acadia Book Store. This is probably one of the last surviving independent book store in this city.

These buildings are still safe from re-development, but I give them about 10-15 years and they may be gone too. The fasades on this block are unique and priceless.

This store does not carry e-books, so how long it will be there, who knows! Carlos Galdamez is the Acadia Bookstore - owner, relocated the store few years ago from more expensive location.
