Hello Rosa :-) Calgary on Mull? It was new to us too but what a place. The beach is beautiful, the water crystal clear although a bit nippy around the 'parts'..

We came back here two days on the trot to check out the beacha nd then go for a long walk along the northern headland...

Mull and Orkney... both are favourites now :-)

Thanks for the like :-)

Cheers

Steve

Greetings to you and all in Athens (A magnificent city..)

Hello Steve, wonderful view, the hill rolling down nicely framing the seaview, first thought when looking to it in Thumbnail you went to some tropical island, trees looked a little as Palmtrees and the white beach ! :), LIKE a lot and I hope to visit Orkneys and Mull sometimes, saw a lot of them already also at BBC's Coast serie and other TV shows, happy monday wishes K@rin

Hello Karin :-) Ooh, how grand to see you have stopped by :-)

I was not sure I would like Mull as much as I did Orkney... How wrong could I be?? I loved every moment of our time here.. As for Calgary Bay, the colour of the water and sand could easily be found in the Caribbean.. The only thing that was not tropical was the temperature of the water :-(

It is a good day today... I am no longer part of a BIG organisation! I am in London on the first of a series of training courses.. So, books, travel and hours of swotting are waiting to be done..

Will always have time for Pano though!

Glad you liked this and I hope you do get to see Orkney and/or Mull....

Cheers

Steve

PS - Love your icon!

thanks for loving my icon :) is also a kind of my "guardian-angel" the ribbons are attached to a wooden little puppet that I always have with me attached to car keys,

Steven Stoddart on August 1, 2011

Hiya Karin - Let me guess.... You have had the "Guardian Angel" for years :-) Funny how we can hang onto the strangest things... (If you know what I mean...)

Thanks for the good wishes!

Hi Steve, lovely view of the bay. Glad you made it to Iona, something I couldn't do when I went to Mull. Wait 'till you've been to the Shetland Isles ;) Calgary on Mull, wait until you've seen California in Derby:)L & Y*

Steven Stoddart on August 9, 2011

Hiya Mark! Iona was something special... I reckon we will visit the island again someday. As for Shetland, I would love to go there... It is the ferry that puts me off the idea! I get seasick in a bath :-(

As for this spot, it is very different to the Calgary I know!

California in Derby.... Hmm... Can it be better than the one just north of bally Lowestoft? I'll bet Arnie ain't Governor of either place...

Thanks for the double accolade :-)

Cheers

Steve
