Greetings Marilyn, How sad, a kite eating tree wins another morsel. But the kite adds a bit of color to the bare tree. Thanks for sharing.

Someone lost his kite! Nice shot. :)

Marilyn Whiteley on October 28, 2007

Thanks, Rich and Wallace. This was one of those times when I took many shots and couldn't get any that was really satisfactory. But it was such a beautiful, colourful sight that I posted one anyway!!

Cheers, Marilyn

Some poor kid's feeling pretty sad! :'(

What a fantastic kite! :D

Maybe now that the leaves are gone, the kid can feel happy about adding such a colourful decoration to a public park! But probably you're right, and the kid is feeling sad.

I love this shot, Marilyn! We have a similar kite & I rescued it twice in one day from a kite-munching monster, much to the delight of my 3 year-old son!

Marilyn Whiteley on November 5, 2007

Thanks, Sarah. A kite similar to this is well worth rescuing! Unfortunately this one was literally beyond rescue--very near the top of the tree.

Cara Marilyn, grazie ad internet il mondo è diventato più piccolo e, sopratutto, è più facile dialogare nel mondo. Indipendentemente dalle appartenenze. Ciao da Palermo. Toti (www.toticlemente.it)

It is good that the internet allows us to make connections across the world. Perhaps we can learn to understand each other better. Marilyn
