Greetings Anne, Thanks for visiting and your wonderful comments. The rock in this area has a lot of iron in it so it was rusted and made the rocks red. It is really accentuated in the early morning sunlight. Your head spins up there when the sun rises because everything is bathed in such a beautiful natural light. Glad you like.
