According to a report on water supplies made by UNESCO, Croatia has a high 32,818 cubic meters of renewable water supply
per capita per year. It is ranked among the thirty water-richest countries in the world respectively, and behind Iceland and
Norway on third place in Europe.
If the Croatian water wealth is accounted as the sum of the amount of water that falls to the ground and the water that comes
from other countries, Croatia in relation to its surface is the first country in Europe for water supplies and a third in the world.
