Dearest MaryAlice I'm utterly touched by your ephemeral stream of messages. Life has its ups and downs. I count your kind thoughts to the ups :)) You too take care whereever you go and enjoy the greatness of the small things on Earth, Peter
Wow, great scene and you took a wonderful photo of it
a very gorgeous place, very well taken
=> LIKE => best regards from Italy, Fabrizio (your FB friend).
Fabrizio, Thank you, thank you for your kind words! I'm so pleased that you enjoyed this pretty view of the river's edge. :)
Jack, thank you very kindly for your generous praise! I'm sorry that I didn't see you comment months ago. I certainly didn't mean to overlook it. Thank you again! :)
Peter, Way back in June, it appears as though I failed to answer you as well. I am so sorry. Your kind reply has made me smile this evening, and I thank you for such thoughtful sentiment. I hope that you, too, are enjoying the small things in life accompanied by a great big smile across your face. :)
Warmest regards to you all this evening,
oh yes dear Mary Alice like this little smile of yours popping out of the blue one early morning :):) Your words are always heartfelt received here...may your Christmas be a season of time to rejoice and moments in nature of pondering watching the joyful doggie and more I wish you a prosperous New Year full of happy moments, Peter
Peter, you certainly have a way with words. Watching my joyful dogs definitely always brings about a smile, or two or three! They entertain me nonstop and keep me busy, no doubt! Exploring nature is so much more fun with a furry one by one's side. They help us to see so much more than the ordinary. Thank you again for always sharing your kindness with me here, and for your heartfelt wishes. You know I am wishing the same for you this year. Merry Christmas and God bless you and yours.
With warmest regards on this super chilly night,
Was curious if you were from the area. I agree that this is a beautiful spot, but I have to admit that I am a little bias. This is a "homeade" boat ramp that my father constructed when I was young. It was definitely a challenge to launch a boat using a manual transmission vehicle at this site, but it was a great launching point for innumerable childhood adventures and memories. It is so interesting to read these comments and to see that so many people from all over the world appreciate the natural beauty of this area as much as my family and I do.
Jbembry, No, I am not from the area, but I was visiting with friends who own a cabin just down the river from this spot. I actually live about an hour and a half away. ( middle GA) I am so excited to hear from you! How wonderful to meet the one who has actually made so many memories in this very spot! Yes indeed, it is dreamy, and definitely appreciated all over the world! Your family should be very proud. I figured it was a boat ramp of some sort, but it also looks like a mysterious little set of stairs that lead into a magical fantasy land! Thank you so, so much for stopping by and commenting here. Again, I am just delighted to hear from you and wish you well. Warmest regards on this super chilly evening here in Georgia,
Mary!!! when in the world were you this close to me, and did not get in touch??? This little town is just 10-15 minutes drive from my house!! I don't know about this particular shot you have here, but its so interesting that you have been so close to me. Pulaski is right in my back door almost...write me a mail and tell me all about this!! its a lovely view here. You capture nature shots so very well, and I am always intrigued with your love of the outdoors, and you and I both live in an area full of such views as this....
warmest, kindest wishes dear Mary,
Sarah, I have two friends that live on the river down in Hawkinsville. Tim and I went to see them last year and we all floated the river. It was so beautiful there. The river is quite calm compared to ours here. It has no shoals or crazy places. It was just as calm as can be. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait to go back in the summertime. Have you ever floated the river there? It is really quite lovely. You would love it I'm sure! Thank you so much for your kind words, and I hope all is well with you and James. It sure did turn cold for the weekend, didn't it?
Warmest wishes to you always,
BUT Mary Iam sorry! this is mapped at PULASKI, Georgia....that's just down the road toward Statesboro from us. I don't know anything much about Hawkinsville! YES dear Mary, turning colder even today for the weekend. We will be watching the Super Bowl of course, where those two brothers (the Harbough? brothers) are facing each other as the coaches, isn't that just the neatest thing??
hugs and kindest wishes....Sarah
Hawkinsville is further down the way from Cochran, which is not too far across the interstate from you! It's still pretty far from you though. The county is probably just large. :)
The Super Bowl. Yes, I'm sure everyone will be glued to it this weekend except for me! ;) I just can't get into football. It is pretty cool about the two coaches facing each other, however!
Enjoy the cool weekend, dear OM! :)
Hugs right back to you,
