This Hangar is one of two remaining from WW2. The third stood where the main apron at the airport is, this was dismantled some time following the war and transported to Holland I believe.

I painted the inside of the hangers in 1964 when i worked with McLean & Stewarts painting firm from Dundee we did the whole camp the billets the watertower my job as nobbody liked working of a bosuns chair finished the job 12noon 24th December, then drove back to Dundee to get home for Xmas eve had to get pulled out of a snowdrift at Newton More and no heater in the car had a great time in wick the people were great hope the Station Hotel is going alright was a good place for good beer i now live in Australia nice and warm where we live and summer is just around the corner, thanks for the Memories
