Thanks, Rosa! I would check this view every morning and listen to the birds. I finally decided to photgraph it. Funny how sometimes we ignore the evryday things and only take tourist views. ;D Cheers! Theolfa

JF, It's a small french window which has a little wrought iron balcony with a nice little shrub growing in it. The door handle is about my shoulder height. There is a ground floor underneath this one about fifteen feet high, a basement beneath that ( servants quarters in Victorian days), and a third florr above this one, where the bedrooms bathrooms are situated. Joining the three floors is a beautiful circular winding staircase with a huge dome window to the sky. A far cry from my condo :D
