The station is still in use. It is a shade of its former self alas. It is on the line between Leeds and Settle. The Settle - Carlisle trains pass through here on their way to and from Leeds.
It may even regain a little more of its former glory, there is talk of reopening the line from Clitheroe to Hellifield to passenger traffic. It has been upgraded as a diversionary route with a recent track relay so things are looking up a bit.

I'm glad things maybe looking up for this line.It is such a shame so many of the lines were closed in the 60's. I live very near where there was a station, many years ago, it would have been so good to be able to jump on a train to get around instead of the car!! Thanks for the info. regards Pam
