This is not an RAF HAWK, It is one of the original arrows originally called the yellow jacks when they where yellow. It is a GNAT..!!!

The aircraft standing behind the GNAT is an Avro-York and is the very one that I flew to Singapore in in 1953. It's call sign is GAGN-G and was used by Sky-Ways of London. The RAF used to supply the crews in the early days. And they operated from Stanstead which was still owned by the RAF in the early 1950s. I was very surprised to see it again
