Hi pedri-top. Thanks! No touch up on this. You might find this interesting though: I shot it about 5 years ago and just the other day decided to revisit the original file with HDR techniques to see if I could pull more out of it. The result is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/buckcash/2439725820/sizes/o/
I shot this with a Canon 20D. No HDR was used on this version of this photo. For other images that I did use HDR on, I used either Photomatix Pro from http://www.hdrsoft.com/ or Dynamic Photo HDR from
http://www.mediachance.com/hdri/index.html
You can see an HDR version of this image at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/buckcash/2439725820/
A truly stunning shot. Any advice for someone trying to get to this spot? I live in the area, but never quite figured out how best to get to this spot. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Vincent. Thanks for the kind words. I parked at the bottom of the hill in the big parking lot by the marina, then hiked my gear back up to the spot. Better idea if you can swing it is to have someone drop you and your gear off up there, then cell phone them when you're ready to be picked up again.
Great idea with the cell phone. Thanks Buck. I think I will give this a go in the next week. Great portfolio btw. enjoyed the HDR work a lot. Take Care.
