Wind-formed, not water-formed, but still a wave -- like a sand dune.

The material on the right of this "wind scoop" (where the bloke in the red jacket is walking around) is called "Skrice." Its a thin thin veneer of pebbles over the smoothest, clearest ice I have ever seen. Its also completely impossible to keep your balance on it. going back here in a couple of weeks - weather permitting.
