Too late fair maiden. I'm off to fall on my sgian-dubh; and only this because I can't spell samurai.
Dirk McDouglas I might have guessed ~ You'll end up in a wee croft boiling broth all day long ~ He has a golden tongue that one ~ fish pie day in, day out ~
Very busy port hardly room to swing a Cat which will please the sailors` good vantage point Like
What a beauty, Amelia (in full size, of course ...-:ooo)), my congratulations and a "Bond"-Like (number 007 ...), best regards from Prague, Zbynda
very impressive scenery, Hubs
What a collection of tall ships, dear Amelia! If there were not the colorful flags, one might think it's a pic from the past! You present a fantastic series of those fascinating sailors - I've seen many of them here in Hamburg at Harbours birthday
Yes Haggs, it was very busy with 74 ships in the race and numerous smaller craft constantly moving in and out of the harbour. It's just a pity that th weather was not so good!
Good morning Zbynda, and thank you. Yes there is lots of detail full size, but the photo is just a little bit 'cluttered' :)
Greetings to Prague from Tananger, Amelia
Hello Hubs, it was far more impressive than the photo shows, and of course I didn't get all the ships in here. What an exciting 4 days it was in Stavanger for the Tall Ships Race :))
Many thanks for that link dear Klaus, and you have an exciting photo with better weather too. The weather was not so good for the 4 days here, although there was a glimmer of sunshine at times. The sun only came at last when the Tall Ships were leaving to go on to the final stage of the race to Sweden.
Warm wishes, Amelia
Excellent view.. I LIKE.. Regards from Spain..
