The awakening is no longer at this location. It has been moved to a new location a few miles south to National Harbor.

Thanks, I'd heard that. Thing is, THIS is where I shot THIS photo. The placement advice is to place it on the map where you shot it from, not where the thing you shot is. So, for example, if you shoot something from a mile away with a big zoom lens, the map placement is a mile from where the thing actually sits. This can cause confusion at times - I know because I get suggestions all the time to move cityscape shots onto the city itself, but they were shot from miles away, so that's where the map placement is.
I don't know what the solution is, but I doubt it matters a lot. In the end, it's all good, I think. :)

Great photo. It's an interesting statue but hard to capture. You did it well. BTW, I see the comments re location from last year, and I totally agree that you placed it correctly. Things change and sometimes move around. But the point is that the photo is of the place, not the thing in it. It's just a footnote to mention that if anyone goes there they won't find this, because now it's across the river at National Harbor.

Definitely the only thing worth seeing at National Harbor. I liked it better on Hains Point!

It is definitely now at National Harbor, in Maryland, although not very far from where it is before. I saw it for myself this past Saturday. Now it is in sand where children and others can play on it. I took photos but I don't know if I took any of the statute or if any are good enough to post. I will write again if I have something!
