The Petrie Building at the left was built in 1882, and the decoration at the top of its unusual galvanized iron facade proclaimed that it was a pharmacy. It has been designated a heritage site, but alas! it continues to decay.

It is a great pity, that architectural history gets lost. Thank you Marilyn for sharing these town pictures with us. They tell a lot about a place! I am very interested in architecture! Greetings May

Thank you, May. I'm more comfortable photographing sunsets and rocks and trees, but I've decided to challenge myself by taking pictures of the small city around me. I hope I can share a little about the place and grow (photographically) at the same time. Greetings, Marilyn
