The river speaks - 201107LJW

JAC_4785-88 This summer (2011) the North Fork of the Quinault, is running nearly three times its normal flow. The 200% snowfall in the mountain has maintained the river at these higher levels. This has made the river impossible to ford in its lower reaches and it is also running in side channels that are normally dry at this time of the year.
