You love buildings, don't you; about the fortress of Bukhara, I wanted to show the contrast between the part that has been rebuilt, and the ruined background. I perhaps got an other shot in my personal found..

Illuminating only adds mightiness to the Cathedral, Yan! Best wishes. Eva

Dear Annick, Rafal and Eva,

Thank you each, for your interest and encouragement. I am sorry for overlooking your comments for so long, Annick and Rafal. I do enjoy architectural design, in fact I often marvel at it for many reasons. And it is fun to go out with my camera at night.

This is a special cathedral built in the late 1800s after the boom of the gold rushes, but only completed in time for the new millennium in 2000 when the spires on the two southern towers were added.

Kindest regards,

Ian / Yan
