The tiny Muttonbird Island in Coffs Harbour, NSW is no more than three hundred metres in diameter. The low vegetation covering its surface is the perfect oasis to a colony of Mutton birds. If you climb to the top of Muttonbird Island, you can enjoy a great 360 degree panorama: behind you, there is the majestic blue of the Pacific; to the south, the vast, curvy stretch of Boambee Beach, running parallel with the runway of the local airport; straight ahead, the Marina and Coffs Harbour itself.
