Islamic art of Madrasah Ulugbek, Samarkand

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

The square-shaped courtyard includes a mosque lecture rooms and is fringed by the dormitory cells in which students had lived. There are deep galleries along the axes. Originally, the Ulugbek Madrasah was a two-storied building with four domed darskhones at the corners. The madrasah was one of the best clergy universities of the whole Mouslem Orient of the 15th century.

Against tourists inside the first floor there are a tourist shop in the picture, women are working in the shop.

2011 August 25 to August 30 of the picture that is outside the Registan Square Music Festival is held in the world.

I was very busy preparing for events.

I went to a vacation during one weeks last week.

Thank you, starman79 for your very interest and kind comments.
