Excellent shot. I've been admiring your work. I have a similar shot here, but it didn't turn out near as well. It was shot on 35mm. I'm relatively new to digital. How do you get your colors so bright and crisp? I'm envious.

With digital, we can now 'dial in' either on the camera or in post processing to simulate various film types, be it a particular black and white emulsions or Velvia or anything else. Similarly, we can also do specialized "processing" from cross-processing techniques to super-saturation, selective masking, and all the other darkroom techniques that used to require a busload of expensive equipment, etc. It's all about getting comfortable with the medium.
