unusual but effective subject matter for the technique - very appealing image

Thanks there Stuart & Graham - yes this one was for a client who owns the yellow one in the middle who was looking for something a little different from the average bathing box shot we here frequently. I stitched up about 8 shots ( full 180 ) from memory and this is the result. A bit of chromatic aberration on the tree in the full TIIF file so i chucked it in the too hard archive basket. Lazy sometimes. Cheers Dasha

that urge to do something different is what makes for great photography for me Dash - show me a guy who can do an original yet engaging shot of the Taj Mahal or the statue of Liberty, or the Eiffel Tower or whatever, and I'll show you a good photographer - i hope your client was very happy with this - they should have been - chromatic aberration or not, the colouring is just perfect to me - the yellow waving but not shouting out of the cool blues - you actually make me feel very lazy - I've not been posting much more than snaps by comparison for a while now.

cheers again

Nice way to get 'round the corner Dasha. Nice saturation on all the colors. A very nice scene indeed.

Graham said, 'that urge to do something different is what makes for great photography for me'. Hear, hear!!

Gedday Kev - Ta for the positive feedback mate. You must have been right on my wavelength when you posted this one. I was shooting my rigging tools, isolation locks & helmet to add some punch to my latest CV. With strobe lighting set up in the kitchen here tonight a visitor could be forgiven for thinking I have gone off my rocker but cannot help myself when I get the urge to do something different. Just doing the PP now as a matter of fact. I went on the forum last night for the 1st time in maybe 3 or 4 months and read over many of your comments to other posters there and their work. I gotta tell ya - you are a patient man. I couldn't help but think what is going on there in terms of how argumentative a few of the punters are. That Quantamist for example is a real hand-full. Good to hear from you and I will jump over and see what you've been up to asap. Gotta finish the latest hair brain scheme of mine first. Cheers Dash
