What a fantastic view! Beautiful light! Is this you Larry? The other pics are great too! Lots of L's. Greetings, Ingrid

Hello Larry, you seemed to enjoy scenery behind you. :)

Well, I've added some photos to Trails and Volcanos group. If you think I was not enough selected - feel free to reduce my selection, I will not be offended.

Dankeschön Ingrid! That is me.

Hi Tomas The intent of the “Trails Group” is that the trail be an element of the photo. I’ll be looking at that later this evening when I am home, as some of the photos posted do not have trails in them. I may have to make that clearer in the ‘rules’. I’ll check you photos out then. S pozdravem, Larry

OK Larry - all photos were taken while trekking the trails, but sometimes looking aside from trial, sometimes the trail ahead itself was not visible (lava fields etc.) I am going to remove my photos not within this rule.

Tomas K☼h☼ut on August 23, 2011

OK, photos without trails removed from group... rest contain at least a sign of trail or trail marking poles. :)

Hi Tom I hope I am not limiting it too much. I am very new at his group thing. I was thinking a group called "Hiking Trail Views" to cover only landscapes you can see from a hiking trails could be a group. Just a Thought. Larry

No problem Larry. You are group owner, you are giving (and enforcing) the rules, you have a reasons.

I did not understand your point clearly, although there is definition "the trail needs to be an element of the photo"... but there is also less strict definition "Photos and discussion about backpacking and day hiking trails around the world." (which is very interesting topic for me).

So - first I thougt this group is more general about hiking experinece (in wider sense).

Feel free to remove more of my photos that in your opinion are off topic! Let me know about it only to get better idea of your definition.

Cheers, Tom

Hi Tom

I see your point. For that reason I just created a group called "Hiking Trail Memories" to include photos take from hiking trails. I am also simplifying the description under "Hiking Trails".
