Just read news about Bob Heath's Twin Otter going down in Anarctica. 90 knot winds and heavy snow are hindering rescue.

Sobering. Extreme environment bringing down the best of the best.

I'm in tears. It appears no survivors of the crash. I pray current reports are all wrong.

Hi Bob. Very sad to see it end like this. There was actually someone tracking them and from the information it was pretty much known what happened. There was a flyby and wreckage was such that it was not survivable. I may have met some of the crew many years ago in my Dewline days when I was in Tuktoyaktuk flying to Inuvik.
