Hi Hans,
Snap!! I've had this camera for nearly a year now, & I love it, though I find it rather limited for indoor, low-light photos of kids, for example. For that purpose I bought a Fuji f40fd a few weeks ago & I generally go out with both of them & use the Lumix when I can make adjustments & the Fuji when I just have to shoot & run, as is often the case when I'm scampering after my son!
I love the wide angle on the Lumix & I find it captures amazing detail. I try & use it for taking portraits - I have some lovely family shots & of course I can readily crop. I'm really happy with it!
What do you think of yours? I see you're putting it to excellent use in the lovely new lake & mountain series I've looked at without commenting - I'll come back to them soon!
All best,
Sarah

Hi Sarah,
my experience is similar to yours. Its good when there is enough light. Poor when the subject moves. The 16x9 format is very good for landscapes. We had some marvelous weather for hiking and photography in the alps just south of Munich.
Cheers, Hans
