Cheers mossip. When taking these shots you just never know what you're going to get. I'm pleased with this one.

you really gettin' into it!! well done. i didnt copy that, what you told me with the suspended waterbottle?? how did you do this?? greets peter from switzerland

Billy B@rk, on November 6, 2007, said:

Hi Peter. The water bottle is to supply the water drips. It's then a matter of taking a shot of the drips hitting the surface of the water in the bath tub. You have to use a quick shutter speed & flash & be very lucky!

Greetings Billy, Looks like you have mastered the drip technique and solved the messy water problem. I like the trick of putting different objects in the water. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,

Rich

Billy B@rk, on November 7, 2007, said:

Thanks Rich. On this one I put the object under water & dripped the water on top of it. I think drop #87 worked well. ;)

Billy B@rk, on November 19, 2007, said:

Thanks J. Most of my ‘drop’ shots are taken with the drop landing next to an object in the water but this one I had the drop land above a submerged object.

I’ve just read that back so I hope it makes sense!

Cheers John. I see you have taken 6 days to make sense of my reply! Only joking. ;)

Thankyou for your kind comments Billy Bark and for visiting my gallery. You are too modest. When I see photos such as the one above, I realise how little I know about Photography. I'm sure my antics would bring a smile to your face. You vastly under-rate your technical know-how, and you also have an eye for a good shot and it is that which makes the difference. AXOTA

Thanks again for your kind comments AXOTA. I’ve got a lots of ideas & inspiration from other Panoramio users so I’d recommend you do the same. You have nothing to lose! :)

It is very strange what the water does. Very nice shot!

Cheers. I'm always amazed when I see the shape the water takes. :)

I'm impressed Billy, I can't think of a better way of getting to know your camera than conducting such experiments. Must try it with my coolpix soon.
