Ripe Spanish tomatoes, a little salt and a lot of sunshine. Costa Blanca gold. I'm addicted to these little suckers. Best sweeties on the planet.

I can believe that! How do they deal with (blow) flies? Or is it a place where insects are rarely seen (or heard)?

There are insects about, but they don't seem to be a problem - maybe the salt puts them off? I don't know. (I've just been by the farm and bought another quarter kilo. I lie to myself that they are less fattening than chocolate - but I doubt it!)

Even (semi?)-raw, they look more enticing than any tomatoes I've ever had - and I've had some decent home-grown stuff.

Ah, the real deal ... what an idea!
