I know I am an "armchair traveller" right now, but seeing all the beautiful pictures from all over the world, allows me to keep a mental list of where I want to visit eventually.....someday...with Australia being one of them! Meanwhile, I guess I'll just have to be satisifed with "travelling" the world via Panoramio and Google Earth! ;-)

Dear DeEtte, As you live in the NW, you are one of our NE neighbours - just across the pond. Vancouver or SFO send plenty of aircraft our way. Come anytime and make sure you link up, for we love visitors, geographers and photographers. We have been having some rain, glorious rain, soaking rain, greening rain. Come this summer and escape some of the cold rain of the NW. Ours is so much warmer and the country is green again, at laaast- although if its desert you are looking for, I am sure I can point you in the direction of the "Outback". Ian

A beautiful picture DeEtte. I like the composition very much with the trees in the foreground, the river as a lead in, and the building on the height as a special point of interest. Great colors too :)
