Good morning Jacques, I am really pleased that you thought thus one deserved a Y*. Thank you so much!

You could probably find this rarity in your region, it grows in dune slacks. I have to say that I had never before seen it growing in such profusion.

Warm wishes, Amelia

Hello Chris, I am absolutely delighted that you like this little beauty. It is not until one gets very close that one can see the amazing details.

Thank you too for the Y*.

Greetings, Amelia

This is one of the finest and most delicate flowers to be found Amelia :) Y*+like Best wishes, Peter

It is a little beauty isn't it dear Peter, but it takes an expert like you to recognise that!

I know of 4 areas where these can be found. 2 are within walking distance of where we live in Norway, 1 is within a short drive of our apartment; but the fourth place, about 40 miles away, is a botanist's paradise! If we are still in Norway next summer I shall go down there again - it was difficult not to tread on them, and the rest of the flora was spectacular too!

Many thanks for the Y*, and for joining the 'Wild Flowers of Europe' group. Your photos are a valuable addition. I have also sent an invitation to your 'alter ego' ;)

Warm wishes from a very windy Norway, Amelia

This is an excellent one! Lots of details. Mostly the bright white is very dominant. F and best regards, Karl
