Düsseldorf - Herbststimmung auf der Königsallee (1)

Ditzi, I noticed the fence in this. Is it a historic one, or a new art piece? It's interesting to me because I designed a fence similar to the top border of this, though it never was built. But I love this one! Do you have other photos of it?

Thanks, worsel! Very nice of you, especially since none of the photos are your own. I'd forgotten all about this bridge. But I still LOVE it! I wish we were still allowed to have things like this railing here in the States. Now with all of the safety regulations requiring certain spacings between parts of the rails, it would be impossible to come up with such beautiful designs. (the safety reasons are of course very important - no one wants any kids to be hurt. But its frustrating for designers!)

Ja, dort gibt es noch eine andere Brücke mit einem alten Geländer. Ich hatte leider nur mein Handy zum knipsen mit. Yes, there is another bridge with an old fence. Unfortunatly i had only my Cell phone camera with me.
