St.Bees North Head and Fleswick Bay

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Seen from the cliff path above the shingle beach of Fleswick Bay, St.Bees North Head is the most Westerly point of Northern England. The red St.Bees sandstone is still extracted to the North of the unmanned lighthouse, at Birkhams quarry.
