Thanks Jeff - it is quite a walk up here to this vantage point!

Greetings, Berend. This is not an aerial photo, but rather one taken with my feet firmly on the ground!

Most people ascend riding in a gondola of a cable car, some simply walk up a very steep track. It is a favourite place for paragliding launches and there is also a bungee-jumping platform that allows some to get there ultimate adrenalin rush!!

I would be confident Michael that you made your way to this same vantage point. Am I right?

Warm regards,

Sorry Ian, like lots of tourists, we used the gondola to see Queenstown from above (I have a shot that is very similar to yours). The reason is not our laziness (though...), we actually didn't know that a path is leading to the top. The vista from the summit is absolutely gorgeous, with Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables. Best regards, Michael

An iconic section of Queenstown. Well captured as usual.

Hi Michael. Well Tonga did what everyone here hoped: they beat France tonight! 19-14!! Rugby is the sporting passion of this small country!

Using the gondola is certainly the way to go up and a bungey is the way to go down!

Best wishes from Tonga.

Thanks indeed, Ah-Pong. The landscape certainly does all the work here - there is little for the photographer to do but enjoy the privilege.
