Thanks, Bruce. This is close as I wanted to get. The intrepid got onto the rock at the upper right, lay down, and looked and took pictures hanging over the edge! As you can judge from my other shot, there was no barrier of any kind, just a sign, warning that the rocks may be slippery! Marilyn
Hi Marilyn. When I saw this shot I immediately thought of your earlier one where I commented that the subject of the photo had a better view than we did. Thanks for letting me see over the edge too. I think this is the best of your new grouping.
Hi Hank. Thanks for your comment. I hope it's all right to "mine" the resources of my collection on some raw, dreary, uninspiring November days. My concern is that, in nostalgic enthusiasm, I may let my "quality control" slip. Please let me know (tactfully of course!) if that seems to be happening.
Don't worry, Marilyn, you're not letting your sense of quality lapse in the slightest....and speaking for myself, I don't think your photographic skills got better in the last year since you joined Panoramio so I applaud your going back to find good shots from your personal inventory.
Really nice one Marilyn
and don't worry! they are all beautiful :)
I think we all do that , going back in our personal inventory and it is ok, because sometimes we discover really great shots.
Thanks, Sylvie. I'm glad to see that you do it, too! Cheers, Marilyn
Amazing shot Marilyn! Great!
Wonderfull photo Marilyn
Thank you, eme jota and Alex. The waterfall is remarkable in that it combines an extremely long straight drop with a tremendous volume of water when the river is high--and the river was high when we visited.
Thanks for uploading this one Marilyn. There are no others of these falls on Google Earth. I am enjoying both your travels over recent years as well as your work from your Ontario neighborhood.
Beauty! Accept my congratulations! Very nice photo!
Great shot Marilyn! It's such a dramatic view. I can practically feel the mist blowing against my face!
Thanks for your comment, Brandon. This waterfall is at the same time so near and so far. You can get as close as you dare to the edge because there are no barriers, only one warning sign. But the falls are so tall that you can't hear the roar at the bottom! But yes, some mist reaches the top.
It gives vertigo to wach this one impressive photo. I add doing it. Fabulous!!, I add it favourites to my.
Thank you, Pepe, for your visit and your comments, and especially for the compliment to this photo! Greetings from Canada. Marilyn
Magnificent picture MARILYN, what a tick watercurtain has this fall, Nice,,,Greetings from holland Fred!
Thank you, Fred. It is a remarkable waterfall, so high that when you stand at the top, all is silent! You cannot hear the roar there must be at the bottom of the falls. Greetings, Marilyn
