This pier is named Crystal Pier and it's at the foot of Garnet Ave. in Pacific Beach. The cottages that you see can be rented. In the 50's some of the cottages were washed off the pier during a storm and had to be replaced. In my teens I surfed here and could be found laying in the hot sand that you see here in the picture between trips to the water to surf.
