This is the beach at Gamba in Gabon, a short walk from the petro-chemical plant. Tree trunks hidden in the surf are constanlty washed up onto the beach, so swimming must be avoided. Also, huge crabs are everywhere.

Nice to see - as children we used to set fire to those trunks. That was over twenty years ago, before digital cameras and google earth, though :-)
