Thanks, this is one of my favorites of the canyon. The range of light was huge (solved using three exposures and HDR software to enable my digital camera to approach film's light handling capabiity) plus there is a small but much brighter patch of sky just out to the frame that causes glare. I like how the shot also reveals in places that the bright orange tones seen in photos are truly there, although this very wide shot does not focus on them.
