This picture was one of many used as a "Saftey Poster" to illustrate to the new air force how important their duties were. The helicopter was being flown by a Royal Air Force pilot who was obeying my hand signals to get him in the right position for the photograph, resonably easy for experienced flyers.

Thank-you for you kind comments, for visiting my gallery and finding some pictures to comment on. This one was done specifically for a safety poster, I was in the Royal Air Force and the Malaysian Air Force so hence the aviation pictures, but sadly not a pilot.

Thank-you, suprisingly enough this took quite a bit of skill as I had to signal to the pilot how much to come down or go up before, I could trip the shutter with the other hand, to get this "as your life is in their hands", certainly made a good aircraft safety poster.
