I love this one, Mike! Lots of interesting textures on the lobster pots and ropes, making intricate patterns, and the contrast of light & shade making a nicely balanced composition, plus a great sense of distance from the foreground to the tiny houses on the far shore. And a diagonal adding to the whole perspective. A keeper! ☆ Theolfa

Thank you dearest Theolfa the house you speak of? I'd check on full zoom if I were you, all those rocks are covered at high tide!

The day was grey and the light was poor so I had to shoot tis way with distance from foreground to distance in order to allow the pots to stand out, as you say 'it's a keeper'!

Best wishes and Hugs

Hi, Mike, I cleaned my eyeglasses, and checked again. Now I see clearly, they are boats! And I don't know a single word of Norwegian, Marianne, unless 'Ja' is one :☽ Theolfa

There is an attraction about crab and lobster pots that borders on the poetic for me K@arin, I find things like this irresistible!

Nicely composed! Like!

I think we are all drawn by crab and lobster pots...just something very photogenic about them. It looks a bit busier across the way.

Across the way are small boats tied up, bigger ones in harbour to fetch and carry tourists to and from bird sanctuary, very popular with tourist visitors.

Thank you for your delightful connent XXX
