A full circle panorama constructed from 9 photos stitched using AutoStitch, photos taken 2011-08-27 16:23-16:26. This panorama had a slight tilt to it. Perhaps one tenth of one degree. I tilted and trimmed with Gimp. There is a slight overlap between the left and right edges of the panorama, but they should be aligned to within a pixel of one-another.

I like the bendy bus on the 'bend' there! Intentional or just coincidence?

Timothy Chase on August 30, 2011

That was an opportunity that presented itself. I wasn't really thinking of the elbow of the bus at the time though, or how it was being used to turn a corner. But I occasionally like highlighting the Seattle Metro and Sound Transit. It is part of the city. And I like the way that perspective and panoramas give you the ability to give one object or another greater visual weight, i.e., greater apparent size relative to other objects.

Good advertising for the Plumber ... sell it to him!

Timothy Chase on September 3, 2011

I was thinking more about selling it to the Seattle Metro. Imagine the caption... "Seattle Metro: it will get you to where you want to go on time." There is the bus, the Century Link field and even the King Station clock tower, each of the three standing in visually for elements of the idea being conveyed. Then again, the plumber might have a bigger budget for this sort of thing.
