Visit this ruins was interesting for me too, 'cos I never been there before! :) Hopefully, one day it will be restored with permament museum exposition, but restoration process can last very long time. From time scale experiences seen from other medieval ruins, restoration progress can take as minimum ~20~30 years. ;(

So far ruins can serve only for view over Aizpute city and for climbing process to get up there. :)

If about this tourists? They understand sign for sure, but might be enter ruins because sign only warn about to be danderous area. Sign idea must be to prevent wild climbing onto walls or lurking trought old windows. :) But this pict anyway looks with a little fun because tourists not stop nor read sign and go trough gates without scare! :D

Maybe with "ruins" the visitors are meant. :)
