If the water level reached the top of the dam, this spillway would have a water flow of over 48,000 cubic feet per second. Put another way, if your vehicle has a 15 gallon fuel tank ( 56 liters), that would be 24,000 tanks of gas each second going thru this hole at maximum capacity.
