Hi Angel, Alan,
Hope your well! Alan, pity i missed that era!! I had a great time in Yorkshire & Cumbria,
Greetings H :) Thanks for the advance notification on your Yorkshire photos! I'm sorry I missed your visit..I was otherwise preoccupied by my daughters greater needs and I was missing, "presumed dead", for several weeks!
As for this beaut, you must be "in the know" to get access to this shed..It is normally out of bounds to visitors..You have caught the workshop atmosphere very well hugh ;) Scenes like this are not so common these days..I hope you enjoyed your visit to the area and I look forward to the results of your labours..I am certain that you found plenty of material..
The BR heavy freight 2-10- is, I believe, the Cock O the North, recently restored and now in permanent residence at Goathland, the other engine is my old friend Sir Nige!
It's a big Like from me 2c..I'll be passing by again soon!
Great feeling of the size and power from this shot.
