Church (1879) on Unionville (Est. in 1794) Main Street, minutes after heavy rain

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

This old church was built as a Congregational Church in 1879. In later years it became the local Veterans' Hall. The church is believed to have been designed by a 24 year old Edward James Lennox, who later became one of Toronto's best known architects. His later works included old City Hall, the King Edward Hotel, and Casa Loma.

On my visit this year, the church was actually a retail store for sport equipment and apparel!!! and one part was kindergarten.

And here is how the church looked in Aug 2013

Aquí este tipo de calles no las hay. Muy chula la fotografía. Se nota que hay tranquilidad en el barrio.
