Like a wonderful painting !! Beautiful capture spence-ation with great cloudy and rainy sky. Well done. Y.S.
That's quite an amazing shot, Spence. What a great range of color in such a tight space.
The sky & storm were amazing. I was wishing I could have got to a more pictuesque spot.
You didn't do too bad from where you were. I just noticed the data--was it really a 6mm lens? That's pretty huge if it is.
Yeah. It is a cheap, little camera I bought to carry with me at all times (when I don't have my bulkier, better cameras). So it's good I had it to catch the shot. One of my favorite photos is taken with this camera (Lake Blanche/Sundial Peak). I'd like to organize my photos with tags of the different cameras I've used. Maybe this weekend.
You have a good point about at least having even a smaller camera with you.
Man that is the most amazing shot i have ever seen. I guess beening at the right place at the right time plays a role in your pic. Very nice.
WOW Spence-ation !!!
This is one of the adjacent thumbnails for n1w's latest shot-out railroad-car light shot....Wow. Too bad you didn't enter this one in the forum 'NPC' this past month. This would have been a GREAT one for the 'Bad Weather' theme.
very very very cool!
Thanks B&P. This is one of the most amazing skies I've seen. I wish I could've been in a place to get a more picturesque foreground, but I'm still pleased with the shot.
Hey n1w, I have realized for just a little while that I didn't answer one of your earlier comment questions about this photo about the data regarding this shot & a 6mm lens. It is just a little point & shoot, and I'm not sure about the difference when campared to a dslr system. I imagine that the 6 mm on this is referring to the diameter of the lens itself.
I understood what it was when you answered the first time, Spence, but thanks for the follow-up. I still don't quite understand some of the various numbers that manufacturers are using as if they're equivalents. I think it just muddies the water even more.
Very nice, like, Hervé
Thank you very much Hervé.
what an unusual awesome capture! LIKE and FAV for this pic and YOU! Kind regards, Mirko
Thanks so much Mirko. Kind regards to you as well.
